Broken Hearts In The Club

She danced harder and wilder as 2016 came closer towards the end. The breakup had caused chaos louder than the music in the club. She was devastated and needed all his memories detoxed out of her system.

10 seconds to go…

The countdown submerged her loud crying. She drank 3 shots of vodka and was now open to any drinks that would come her way.

As she stumbled her way towards the bar again, she bumped into another soul. She looked into his puffy red eyes and instantly related to that pain. He looked at her beautiful face with swollen cheeks and knew he has finally found a heart that perfectly fixed into the interior of his own broken heart’s jigsaw.

1 second to go...

Without another word they smiled at each other, as if not only welcoming another year, but another beautiful chapter into their lives.
